Sky car of the future and almond butter

O.k., you are asking what one thing has to do with the other ? And a right question to ask.
Paul S. Moller, a respected scientist and inventor has been building the Skycar M-400 among other skycars. Moller.com . He is close to getting certified by the government to sell these machines. I think you can buy one for a million dollars, or so. He is a man in his seventies, and a few years back he said 'if I am going to live long enough to complete my life's work I'd better take care of myself', he knew that almonds are a life prolonging food. So he bought an almond farm. Quail Oaks Ranch. They make, in my opinion, the tastiest and freshest almond butter around. You click to order, and receive pretty rapidly. Try it, you'll like it ! It's organic, too.

Cereal Bar

Cereality.
This is a super idea. A place that only serves cereal. According to Florence, people exist only to eat cereal.

Her essay: A well-balanced diet is usually recommended as proportionate amounts of carbs, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. One should eat 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and drink 8 glasses of water. Some sort of protein, approximately half the size of your fist, should be consumed daily. According to most nutritionists, this is how I should eat. Forget it—I’m getting a bowl of cereal. And so begins my essay.

As I sit here with my delicious gourmet bowl of puffed corn or lightly sweetened loveliness, I realize my one true love—cereal & milk. I could live on it. And I think the world can too. In fact, the commonly accepted idea of a well balanced diet can be found within the confines of those ever-so-friendly cardboard boxes we know and love.

To provide some brief historical context, the word cereal derives from the Ceres who is the Greek Goddess of Agriculture. Breakfast cereals were created as a means to simplify breakfast into one easy delicious meal! And if Breakfast is supposedly the most important meal of the day, how much more so can cereal be seen as the most important food in the world.

Cereal is fun and exciting. It comes in over 1000 varieties. From Froot Loops, to Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Grape Nuts to Cheerios and Kashi GoLean Crunch. There is something for everyone. There are healthy cereals, there are sugary ones. There are ones with fruits and ones with vitamins and minerals. There are some that contain whole grains and many that can help reduce the risk of heart disease. Many contain a heart-healthy supply of protein in soy-form. Cereals can provide necessary fiber and can even lower your cholesterol. There are cereals to help your iron intake, and many that can just let you sit back and say Mm…Coooookie Crisp. Add some milk and BAM, you’ve got your daily calcium intake as well, warding off osteoporosis by building strong bones. So there you have it. Carbs, Proteins, Vitamins and Minerals—all in one package! In this day and age, living entirely on cereal alone seems extremely plausible.

Another reason as to why cereal can be seen as an essential food product is its convenience. A bowl of cereal is the easiest thing to prepare--even a caveman can do it.

Plus, with its high production rate, in times of desperation cereal may be needed to feed the starving masses. The crafty cardboard casing and preservatives will result in an endless supply of puffed rice and corn delights. Thus supporting my point that cereal can be a life supporting food –and probably will be in times of trouble.

In addition, the significance of breakfast cereal is being greatly recognized throughout the country. The future leaders of our nation, currently on college campuses, have been shown to survive mainly on a diet of cereal and milk. Why? It reminds them of home, helps them concentrate on their schoolwork (due to the subconsciously-embedded motion used to prepare the dish), and provides the students with a substantial and satisfying meal. Recently at the University of Pennsylvania, a Cereal Bar and Café was open. Cereality dishes out bowls of any cereal you can imagine with any topping you can want (even Pop Rocks). Clerks in pajamas serve up bowls of cereal and milk to hundreds of college students looking to savor the meal day and night.

Cereal is the best. Coming from a person who just ordered 4 boxes of Berry Berry Kix on Amazon, I can honestly say that cereal is keeping me alive. It’s the reason I wake up in the morning. Its my midnight snack, and its my I-don’t-wanna-write-an-essay-so-I’ll-go-eat-some-cereal treat. A well-balanced diet can consist of cereal and milk- as shown with the great new benefits sprinkled on top lately. Cereal is convenient and serves as a great comfort food to the nation. It is being shown world wide as the sustenance of our college campuses. With these statistics, how can anyone go back to eating regular food? Now if you excuse me, my rice krispies are getting soggy.

Automotive Design : The Avanti

The Avanti. Well, there was a car. Invented by Raymond Loewy, who is called the father of Industrial Design. Raymond Loewy.com. , and Raymond Loewy.org . From the Lucky Strike cigarette logo, to the Post Office eagle. From the Greyhound bus to the Shell Oil logo. His automotive achievement was the Avanti for Studebaker. See his drawing above. The production vehicle 1961(left) was made into the seventies. It was later resurrected in Canada (right). You can still buy a new one. The design is literally timeless, it looked good in 1958 and still looks great in 2008, and will look even better in 2068. Wait and see. There is no car today that retained its identity like this , save for the Porsche 911.

Retro automobile design is now the future

The Ford Mustang is an icon of American automotive steel. From the sixties it captured the eye of every adolescent boy. Well the muscle was not forgotten, those boys are grown up, and Ford lately has re released the original Mustang and it is more muscular. See the images here as proof. But just wait for the Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger.
